Marso Marso Bs Marso

Few moths ago few close friends of mine decided to visit sehwan shareef using our private transport
we started from our home town Dera Ismail khan and then we have to cross taunsa, dera ghazi khan, jampur, rajanpur, kashmore,,khandh kot, shikarpur, larkana, qambar, khairput, nathan shah, dadu before we reach sehwan.
. Though route was very long but purpose was to go through interior Sindh and see how's is the life there.

Expected 12 to 14 hours journey we were heavily rely on  Google maps and our GPRS guide line.

soon we cross kashmore the border between Punjab and Sindh we observe huge number of salt-water lakes arround roads.
The flow of water in River Indus effectively checks salt-water intrusion from the Arabian Sea into the flood plains of Indus. During the past few decades, as the storage and consumption of water has continued to increase in the northern plains, seawater has started flowing up in to Indus and its estuaries.
With the reverse flow of salt water into the southern part of Sindh, the sweet water aquifer gets contaminated, adding to the salinity of irrigated lands.only crop I can see was rice as Now rice are being grown using salt water.

Throughout the way poverty, lake of infrastructure observed every where. Even crossing through big cities like shikarpur larkana I just feel we are passing through small towns fill with garbage ,dusty roads. We reach larkana on sun set and found a nice smooth road from larkana to dadu it was kind of relief to drive on such road but an other problem comes out after
every 20 to 30 km we have to cross check posts where we were asked where are you going and where are coming from soon they hear word "sewan"  they asked for LAL NOTE (100 RS) as we are going to visit Lal shahbaz qalandar shrine so we have to pay them a LAL NOTE. They even did not ask us show documents or driving license etc but they insist on only and only Lal Note.

if you live in sindh for long time as I get chance to live for a month or so in Hyderabad and before that 3 years in Karachi you will feel that this is most corrupt  province in all Pakistan. you may have also
heard about Wadera system in sindh but fact is its more cruel then you heard. They never allowed ordinary person to sit on chair or sofa and keep them on ground close their feet's all the time.

I got a chance to visit the hala close to Bit shah the home town of Makhdoom Ameen Faheem and found more then two dozen dishes are serve on each dinner every night. So you
can imagine that from top to bottom there is one lesson for all sindhi grab what you can and how much you can.

In near future I can not see major changes in sindh as they never tried , they don't want to establish cities because they already know what happened in Karachi and Hyderabad where PPP is become irrelevant as compare to interior Sindh so if you want to succeed keep
them where they are just feed them with 1000 Rs as benazir income support  given rashan  few times and keep them buzy in mela urs (more then 50 urs are celebrated in one year) in the name of sindhi culture and thats all you will win again and again.

History shows that independent movements actually begin when dominant party refuse to give the genuine rights to weaker parties. Our own history why we demand the division of Hidustan. why Bangladesh is separated and why this situation in Baluchistan is getting worst day by day. if we can answer all these question we have answer for all those who want Sindh to be divided etc etc. and this marso marso Sindh na Daso will never stop Sindh division unless core issues are addressed.

Currently interior Sindh is not happy they way things are going on and nationalist parties are exploiting these issues while in urban areas not a single major  project initiated in last 6 year are so while Karachi is called financial capital of Pakistan so they have right to be angry are't they..?

I think its time for new generation to stand up, new PPP chair person bilawal Bhutto must change tradition for sake of Sindh and Sindhi people who gave them so much respect and love and slogan marso marso will be replace with geso geso shan nal geso.(we will live and live with respect and honour).
